The Olympic Trio Cocktails

Gin & Tonic is a Classic and Snags a Bronze

2 oz. Alley 6 Harvest Gin

2 oz. tonic water

2 oz. red soda or sparkling water (this one is Trader Joe’s cranberry-ginger soda)

Squeeze of lime juice

Fresh citrus garnish

Fill a highball glass with ice. Add ingredients in order listed and stir gently to combine. Garnish with a wedge of fresh citrus.

Martini Takes the Gold

2 1/2 oz. Alley 6 Harvest Gin

1/2 oz. Dolin dry vermouth

Lemon twist garnish

Combine gin and vermouth in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until very chilled. Strain into a chilled martini glass or coupe and garnish with a lemon twist.

Gimlet is a Close Second

2 1/2 oz. Alley 6 Harvest Gin

1/2 oz. lime juice

1/2 oz. simple syrup

1/2 teaspoon spirulina powder

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake to chill. Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass. If you don’t have spirulina powder and want to make it blue, you can also use a product called B’lure or add a small amount (1/4 oz. or so) of blue curaçao to the shaker before shaking.
