The Spring Mule

This stunning drink features our very own Alley 6 Harvest Gin infused with Selefina Spices butterfly pea flower powder, along with Amoretti lavender-violet syrup, fresh lime juice, and ginger beer.

To create this magical drink, we infuse our gin with butterfly pea flower powder, resulting in a stunning blue color that transforms to purple with the addition of citrus. The combination of floral and citrus notes is perfectly balanced with the spiciness of ginger beer, creating a refreshing and delightful experience.

To make The Spring Mule at home, follow the recipe below:

  • 2 oz. Alley 6 Harvest gin infused with Selefina Spices butterfly pea flower powder

  • 3/4 oz. Amoretti lavender-violet syrup

  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice

  • 3 oz. ginger beer

To infuse gin, combine gin and butterfly pea flower powder in a glass jar with a lid and shake well to incorporate the powder. Use 1/2 tablespoon of powder for each 6 ounces of gin. Let sit overnight, shaking occasionally. Strain contents through a coffee filter to strain out unincorporated powder. If infusing with whole dried butterfly pea flowers, cover flowers entirely with gin and let sit until the desired color saturation has been achieved. Strain through cheesecloth before using infused gin.

Combine gin, syrup, and lime juice in a shaker and add ice. Shake to chill then strain into rocks glass over ice. Top with ginger beer and garnish with fresh lavender.
